You can create as many chatbot as you wish, whether to start from blank database or existing database to improve upon it. But I think it would be too enthusiastic to create more than two. I have problem handling even one, teaching them to be smart is not an easy task...

Chatbot Basic Settings ...

The bot needs to know himself! For a start (the first column), he needs to know what is his name!

Reply Database ...

The bot will need to learn a database of replies...

Reply Database ...

He needs to learn some standard replies, the one shown below is a list of possible standard greetings by the bot.

Keywords Database ...

Hey, how does he know what reply to use? So he needs to associate certain keywords he learned to his reply database.

As you can see, this bot will be able to differentiate whether the input refers to :

(a) question (ASK - are you, what, why etc.)
(b) person (you, i, he...),
(c) anything not covered by (a) and (b)
(d) most common short user input (yes/no/why...)

and look for the database accordingly.

Wordseek Database ...

This is just another keywords database. But the bot wants to be seen as smart. So he wants to be able to provide EXACT, SPECIFIC reply SUBSEQUENT to previous bot's reply.

Once he is able to match any keywords from this database to user's input, he should be able to answer as though he knows exactly what the user means and what the bot himself is talking previously.

Keywords and Replies Search ...

A handy utility to search for a particular keywords which may be appearing in more than one databases.

Test Chat and Diagnostic

We must be able to look into the process of robot's thinking to determine where went wrong. So the special diagnostic screen may be able to provide some hint.
